Is this your best effort at making a contribution to this thread?

10 former lsu baseball players were on Major League rosters on opening day last week. And a couple dozen more, give or take, were on minor league rosters.

Cabrera has tendinitis in his wrist
Cabrea told Mainieri it’s the base of his right thumb that’s hurting.

Cabrera has managed pain at the base of his thumb all season, but he aggravated his injury last Friday night against Mississippi State. During an at-bat, Cabrera shook his hand. Mainieri knew something was wrong.

Obviously.

But him sitting out doesn’t assure that.

A bone bruise or god forbid a torn ligament in his thumb is most certainly not ideal. I’d honestly rather it in his wrist I think

If he had a torn ligament in his thumb he’d likely have already had surgery to repair it like Dugas did.

I’m not a doctor but one time I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express........in Starkville.

So, supposedly LSU was saying Cabrera could have played in the mid week games, if it were SEC play, but they were just giving him extra rest. That made perfect sense.

And now, he's not playing this weekend? I guess those reports were fake news, or the coaches had no idea what they were talking about. Hope he makes it back soon.

If our offense can perform like it did last Friday and Saturday, in terms of just putting up quality at bats, they probably won't score as many runs against this A&M staff, but it should be enough to win. Because with the way our pitching is coming on, and how A&M has struggled at the plate, I think our staff is in for an outstanding weekend.

Edit- what kind of miserable people keep downvoting everything? Was it too positive? Was my comment about false reports that Cabrera "could've played these mid-week games, if they were SEC games" not accurate? Some people are just unbelievable.

Well Rollins also said he was healthy enough to play Tuesday but they were holding him out until the weekend.

Well his replacement is batting 303 to his 309. You lose power but you gain speed in a series that will most likely be low scoring.
