Gonna be catching the game in Houston and can't wait to see what should be a game with good fight from both sides. Ask me what you want to know about BYU.

Obviously, LSU is and should be favored in this game. Having watched Etling play since he was in HS, stopping your offense will come down to keeping the ball in his hands.

Anyway, look forward to some preseason banter--you thinking highly of your team...me thinking highly of mine.

And before you ask...just have one wife.

I think it'll be a good game. BYU is going to play hard and keep it respectable.

Look forward to a good game. I think Lsu better come to play. U guys have some veterans at key spots and last year y'all could've been a 10 win team with a break or two here and there

I expect a lot of offense from BYU, but hopefully we can minimize the scoring. I don't have to tell you that our defense is loaded with big, fast, athletic, and skilled players. But, that isn't always enough with an offense they're not used to seeing.

We're breaking in a completely new offense, so I don't know what to tell you except be ready to tackle Guice. Kid is legitimately a top 2 or 3 RB in the nation. But, with the change in philosophy, I'm not sure we have the potential to just wear your guys out in the first half. Maybe. And certainly if we get a big lead early that makes things easier for us.

But, I've always respected BYU. Great QB and overall passing tradition out there.

It was a year of heart attacks...course you all know the feeling with your four losses last year. We'll see how much Mangum has gelled with the WRs who were waiting in the wings last year. Taysom Hill was a special athlete to have a QB, but Mangum is taking us back to our roots with an arm that can sling it anywhere. Whether anyone will be open against your DBs will be the question.

Mangum is good, but your WR's are inexperienced, and they're going against the best DB corps in the country. Y'all will have a slight advantage, in that you play a cupcake the week before, and we don't. We also have a new OC and scheme on that side of the ball, so we will probably be working out some kinks. I see it being close in the 1st half, hell we may even be down by a few points. 21-17 BYU at half. 38-21 LSU at the end. Aranda and Canada make the needed adjustments at half, BYU doesn't do anything on either side of the ball in the second half.

...be ready to tackle Guice...

That's all BYU fans can talk about. Etling doesn't scare us. Your WRs haven't shown much other than in recruiting rankings. All anyone can talk about is Guice, and for good reason. He'll be the best player on the field in Houston. That video that went viral among BYU fans showing your RBs in a pass catching drill, it was obvious who #5 was. Even in a drill.

I'm just hoping he isn't ready for a fight for four quarters. We're bringing as many angry Islanders as we can to the front seven. This won't be a group that quits even if they give up a big play.

With the new shuffling required on your already retooling o-line after Teuhema's departure, I'm hoping for some game 1 miscues on the OL. Course, BYU fans still think the world of Grimes so we know coaching won't be an issue.

Lol. Did you see their schedule last year? It was horrendous from a won/lost standpoint.
