With the bye week I’ve been thinking bout off the wall topics. Got a question for those that may have followed Peter Parish.
Anybody think he’ll ever be a starter for us? What have y’all seen from him, those that have studied him?

I was hoping he'd get a few snaps by now.

I don’t see it unless we have a few losses then are up a ton. Preparation for Myles is important in case the worst happens

I mean ever.
Next year will be Brennan’s to lose.
And next year we got two guys coming in. Idk bout the Max kid, but I’d imagine Finley would start over Parrish.
Just wondering what y’all think.

I haven’t seen too many people on the recruiting board singing Finley’s praises. Max’s highlights dropped last week and looked impressive.

Just so difficult to predict. Most thought D. Campbell would be a multi-year starter in the O-Line, and that Cushenberry was a wasted schollie. It is clear that Parish, Finley, and Johnson all have the talent to become top notch SEC QBs. But which one develops??? Who knows?

Finley is terrible right now.

Wish we could’ve landed Gunnell. Growing in infront of our eyes, will be really good by the time he’d be called on here

He will get snaps next year, but starter, no. By the time Max gets a season under his belt, he will start over Parrish. But I think it's a close battle. TJ will take a few years to be ready.

I see. I appreciate the feedback.
Hopefully Joe Brady can develop QB’s as well as he can implement an offensive scheme!!
Having a guy in staff that can really help these guys make the transition from HS to SEC would be a nice change.

All those guys are place holders. Brennan gets 2 years. Next year we bring in the next starter. Caleb Williams...Nussmeir.

I seen him play in high school and hes a fast, tough and smart QB needs a little work on arm strength and accuracy

That doesn't scream 'good fit' in Joe Brady's passing attack.

To be fair, Finley is one of the youngest in his class, plays on a terrible team for a terrible coach.

However his physical qualities are top notch 5 star. That’s what the coaches see.

Well, it's just the way I see it. I mean, Max is the son of an ex NFL QB, he has been steeped in reading defenses, reading coverages, reading blitzes etc. his entire life. This plus how he is having to play with a lot of pressure already tells me he will be more SEC ready than most freshman. Plus he has pretty good genes. And he is a pretty good athlete. He has a lot of advantages over other QB's his age. But, it's just one persons opinion, Anyway, I think Brady will be able to do exactly what we need.

Peter PaRRish can play. He'll red shirt and will back up Brennan.

Finley will never run this type of offence.

Just because he’s huge and has a cannon doesn’t make him 5 * quality

Who knows, honestly I'm hopeing we bring in a 5 star kid next cycle and he starts as a so but it is really impossible to predict unless you are at practice every day. Even then it is still kind of a toss up.

Don't really see the point of it at this time. Would be taking the ball from better players.

I'm rooting for Finley. I went to Ponchatoula and my daughter's name is Finley. Too much coincidence to not root for the guy, at least I can get her a jersey with his/her name on it
