By my count we have lost exactly 30 players and gained exactly 30 players.

Were we at 85 when the season began?
How many more portal players can we reasonably take and how many more players from current roster are we expecting to lose?

In this day and age we had a damn TE leave during fall camp so we can't be certain things will remain the same.

More will leave after spring. Never know when youll have another kid do something stupid in the offseason too.

There is a thread on the recruiting board talking about this. A couple posters said we were at 83 at the end of the season. Most say we have 4-6 spots available, but I’d expect more to hit the portal in the spring.

85 is the limit for the SEC. 105 for most everyone else.

85 is the limit for everyone per NCAA rules until the NCAA changes it. The earliest any scholarship limits would change is April, and that’s if the settlement doesn’t get delayed further.

As I understand things, 85 is the scholarship limit for the SEC, the roster can go to 105 with walk ons. That being said, the walk ons will get some money out of NIL and revenue sharing.
