It's hilarious how LSU fans don't realize how ridiculously high 40 tds is.

Who cares how many if we win.

28-33ish sounds about right

Just looking at it from a historical perspective. Johnson is already #17 on the all time list in LSU history for TD passes with 23. HE could get all the way up to #4 by the end of the season passing Herb Tyler who has 40.

No. He will end up with 30-35 but once we start playing good teams his production will suffer. Especially when the opposing defenses know we have absolutely no ability to run the football.

Sell. Gonna hit the meat of the schedule and struggle a bit.
I see 30-34 though, which is stellar for a sophomore with no offensive line.

Sell. We have the 4th most difficult schedule from here on out.
Yep, Im selling. Even if we manage to go 5-1 with wins over Auburn and Kentucky were still facing 5 top 15 teams over our last 6 games. 6-6 is still completely plausible.

Sell- We have a tough schedule ahead.

Buy - our run game is awful so only way to score will be through the air. Probably a good chance to exceed this number!

that's fair. i just think he's due for a tough stretch.

Defenses will be much tougher going forward, fact

So, 9 games left if LSU goes to a bowl game. Moo State defense is sub par at best. It will be close, but I'm selling. The lack of a run game will have our offensive strategy that much easier to defend against. FLorida, Bama, Arkansas, and A&M will defend the pass well.

Sell. The schedule is getting tougher.

Buy. I think we will continue to have to throw it A LOT to win this year, and with the emergence of D. Smith, K. Taylor, and others in addition to the others, there will be more passing TD's.

Perhaps the more accurate way to look at this is, considering the state of the running game, will most touchdowns be through the air or an the ground?
Through the air.
Buy

Closer to 35, which is still outstanding
Especially since I remember as a team we once threw for 10, 1 of them from a running back.
