People who say Leavitt sucks have some serious confirmation bias.

I criticized him over turnovers, inaccuracies, etc. Which he deserved. Him cleaning those issues up is a great step forward and deserves being noticed.

Just do it against top opponents, and on the road, and all will be well.

There is no doubt he has improved and the hammy has caused him to focus more on staying in the pocket and going through his progressions. He is making quicker decisions and getting the ball out. My only concern is the hammy still isn't healed and it is hampering his ability to run which we will need at some point this year. It also affected some of his throws saturday by not being able to step into it like he needed to. Hopefully we can get the win and get him 2 weeks of rest to heal as well as others before the Bama game.

No, Leavitt doesn't suck, but he will have to play a clean game on the plains on Saturday in Auburn. No stupid INT's, make good decisions, and get some protection from the O-Line. If he and the team are able to do this and come back with the 'W', that's a big step. We haven't won on the road in SEC since October of 2024 is what I heard yesterday...!

Oddly enough, I feel like he's gone all in on staying in the pocket and now I think he needs to find that middle ground.

His scrambling and taking off is elite. That part of his game shouldn't just die.

He's gotta find a good mix of reading his progressions and then taking off if nothing is there.

But but but State was without Kamario Taylor, so none of those stats are accurate.

Add Baker sucks too according to the Fast Food Fans at TD. One of the best defense in the SEC yet some want him gone.

Baker is a good DC. He needs to prove his worth against good teams on the road. I question his decision making sometimes. Hes great at home against mediocre teams but as soon as we play a team with a pulse they look lost out there

This post just proves that he absolutely needed to improve from early in the season. Kudos to him for doing so, but let’s not act like there weren’t things to be concerned about.

I was a big anti-Sam guy but those numbers don't lie.

I guess the Kentucky oline is just vastly superior than our dline. Is that the only game with almost zero sacks?

Furthermore, Sankey still sucks.

I really hope Leavitt sticks around for 2027, which I think he will.

He’s going to be very, very good.

Not with a bad hamstring. We have to be able to win this week with him not running. Then two weeks of rest. We need him healthy. He'll have to be able to run in the next three games after the bye.

It's almost like players can improve and develop. Especially QBs under Kiffin and Weiss. This isn't a surprise for anybody that has followed college football the last 10 years.

He missed last season and most of preseason practice. New coaches, new system, new team and he started out a little rusty. But its obvious he is tough and a competitor. I hope he will be back next year.

If one still thinks Sam is a bad quarterback just remember the days of enduring quarterbacks like Anthony Jennings , Brandon Harris

His throwing has improved but he still makes careless errors. Needs to clean that up.
WRs need to catch as well
