Just rewatched that play. He got pressured, stepped up, turned to avoid outstretched defender's arm, threw from an awkward position, and delivered the ball on the money while in the arms of a defender.

Biggest play and best pocket awareness in the last decade by an LSU quarterback.

Unbelievable play. That was his Heisman highlight moment for sure.

So far.

Pass was wobbly, not a tight spiral.

Bench him.

That was an NFL type throw. 3 & 17 showed Joe’s poise under pressure, especially knowing that we had to score there the way the defense was playing. Probably one of the best performances I’ve ever seen out of an LSU QB in a big game

I can’t believe we all out blitzed

Key'd by the GREAT pass rush blocking by CEH -- which allowed Burrow to step up and to the left -- then pass to Jefferson.

CEH -- at only 5'8" -- is a stud pass blocker!

I thought his pocket presence was very impressive last night. Makes me extremely excited to see.

Why? It wasn’t UT getting burned on a bad play call that made it a highlight, it was Joe making a great play against a great defensive play call.

I think it was the only option left. Longhorns couldn't cover man-to-man or zone, so an all out blitz was the best shot, it almost worked.

Can you imagine any other LSU coach in history, throwing on 3 and 17 in the last minutes with a 7 point lead? Saban, Miles or beyond, would have run the ball and lost the game.

Love Burrow, but have the ultimate respect for O, the man has no ego, he will do anything to win. Remember when DiNardo got rid of best DC, Carl Reese, because got a lot of credit for beating Florida? O doesn't care, he just wants his boys to win.
