I think a case can be made for JD5 being just a tad better.

First off - this is the tenth time this has been posted. Just let it go.
Secondly - Burrow
Secondly - Burrow

As good as he is, he’s not as good a qb as Burrow.

Burrow is more of pure passer, Daniels is a pure runner. Burrow has more of the instincts that make QB’s great. Daniels is good, but he depends on his legs too much. Sometimes when he feels pressure, he can’t react quick enough to find the open receiver, so he takes off running.

This defense makes Daniels look worse by comparison. I'd still take Burrow, but not by much.

Now do one of this post vs any other post. I vote other post.

Burreaux but JD is on his heels

They have different skill sets.
I’d be happy with either. They were both great. Joe had a better defense.
Not sure why we have to make up these phony controversies and pit one against the other.
I enjoyed them both.

LOL no!
Let Daniels enjoy his year/moment and stop with the comparisons. They’re two different types of players.
For an overall “franchise” type QB, it’s Burrow all day. That’s not to discredit Daniels. He’s excellent in his own way.

Burrow undoubtedly is number 1
Daniels now 2 in LSU history

JD can’t hold Joe Cool’s jockstrap.
Joe Cool had a long list of quality wins.
JD had Bama and Mizzou, and some awful losses.

Burrow, he beat 7 top ten teams. Went 15-0 and won a natty and won the heisman by the biggest margin ever. Also didn’t stay in games running up his stats against shite teams to make him seem better than he was. JD #2 no doubt

Burrow was twice the passer JD is. His ability to process the defense and make the proper read will rarely be matched. This is not a knock on JD. Burrow's ability to process a defense was generational. While not a "running QB," people seem to forget that Burrow was the #2 rusher on the team in 2019.

Statistically Burrow is the better QB for everything except running the football. Not to discount that; Daniels has kept games alive with his feet. I’d say. Burrow 1 and Daniels 1A.

Burrow, and I bet you were one of those d********s that wanted Nuss at the beginning of the season.

I would just say that we are extremely fortunate to have had the both of them in a four year span. They are both generational talents and apparently fine human beings.

Daniels is good
Anyone even in consideration for the Heisman Trophy has to be way better than simply “good”
Joe had an immensely better cast surrounding him than JD. They were different style quarterbacks, but both were extremely talented.
