- Drew Miami offsides more than once to continue drives
- Checked down on a smart call resulting in NB’a TD
- Only two sacks against consistent miami pressure
- Smartly threw the ball away against a turnover-Happy defense
- Smart run I saw at least once for a 1st down

This kid has confidence, football smarts, and clear athletic gifts. He will only improve. Going to be a great season seeing him develop.

He managed the game very well. He did nothing to lose it. Sometimes, that's all you need in a game like this.

Saw a couple play actions or what was supposed to be... and Burrow faked one way and back was going the other. Missed call by QB or RB?

Yep. He only threw 6 passes in the last 35 minutes of play. When he did throw in that span it was in passing situations and that favors the defense. I would have like to seen LSU just run their offense and stop watching the clock, even with a 30-point lead. This offense can be very good if they throw on first down often but O just wanted to get out of that game last night with a win and did what any coach would do with a big lead and a great defense.

Considering this was his first meaningful start anywhere, he was pretty solid in all areas. Can certainly tell he is a coach’s kid. He was reading the D like 4th year sr.
Will be fun watching him develop.

Now just get the timing done better against SELA and get ready for Aubie. That game will really define who we are.

That's what you call a complete quarterback. A lot of other guys we've had were just throwers.

I think he’s a combo of the two types of QB we’ve been used to seeing lately. He’s a thrower AND a good decision maker.

I saw this as well. Def happened more than once. Overall though he executed well. I didn’t like the play calling in the 2nd half at all. You can still run out clock and move the ball. Ensminger sat on the ball way too much

I agree...his performance as a QB last night can't be described by stats alone.
