Burrow is a machine when he has time to throw. He was damn near perfect last night with all of his throws. We get him decent protection in 2019 w our young receivers our chances of scoring 30+ points/game is legit. He was money last night. Fun to watch!

Burrow looks completely different. We need to make these playoffs so he can redeem himself and kill the gumps.

...that's been the case for most of the year.

Last night he stepped up and completed a pass , that's what has really been missing

Thats the way it is with most qbs. Protection makes a qb look good.

Let's rephrase this....Burrow is awesome against a putrid defensive line.

he is a good passer when given time i agree but needs to learn some escapability in the pocket. i think if the line improves next year he could be a mett back there next year. thats if his wr's learn how to catch the ball.

Because he's had protection. Our offense takes time to develop on each play. Part of my beef with E is that he's called the same, slow to develop offense, every game even if pressure was getting to Joe within 2 seconds.

I think last night was a good example that it's not the player (joe looked great) but it's been a scheme issue. LSU should open with the quick plays and spread the ball around to open up the run plays which will open up the deep pass play.

Night and day difference when he has protection. Then again I think this could be said for any QB

Accuracy is kind of important too.

His average per pass was 11 yards, he was very accurate last night throwing downfield.

Yep, give the guy time to throw and he will thread-the needle everytime.

He really is fun to watch. Instincts are through the roof.

Can't wait? Is E going somewhere? I'd be for that.

Had a good conversation about yesterday eve with a hs football coach.

I didn’t just come out and ask him hey do you read TD and all shite these morons post about our offense and coaches and scheme but did say some people are cliluless about what’s important ...

He said absolutely Oline is LSUs offensive problem.
Cape able qb, rbs and receivers.
Scheme and play calling mean nothing when you can’t protect the qb.... and LSU Oline has done a below avg job this season.

When you can't execute a screen, that's very telling. The screen doesn't rely as much on blocking and more on coaching your team how to do it properly, disguising it in your lineup and execution, and calling it at the right time.

So yes, we need to block better. But that's not our only issue.
