Burrow is a rare breed. GOAT LSU QB imo. Savor the moment.

I seen a lot of quarterbacks at LSU. Joe borrow is one the best. But to be fair all the rest ran from the I formation basically.

He’s the best that I’ve ever personally witnessed in tiger stadium. I’m almost 60.

I’m really enjoying this.

It's ridiculous how on point he was last night and how great he has been all season. Gonna thoroughly enjoy this season and :insertboozieletsride:

Well in some ways I am beginning to think on those lines but we do have 3 quarterbacks who helped to win 3 National Championships. He helps to beat Bama. Wins SECCG, and possibly a NC, then yes.

I love Matt Flynn, Matt Mauck, Rohan Davey, Jamarcus Russell but I'm going with Joe

I can't argue against it.

I know it's a combination of Burrow's football IQ, confidence and swagger combined with a system that's conducive to the strengths of every player on the field...

But JB9 is just amazing and commands the offense, and holds them accountable, like nobody I've ever seen at LSU since I first watched LSU Football in the mid 80s.

That's my quarterback!!!

There's a mix of physical talent, mental toughness, competitive drive and overall leadership ability that make him special. You saw it last season, but the pieces weren't there yet from team talent, experience and system to let him flourish, but it was there. In Miami when he mixed it up with the Canes to the A&M where he literally left it all on the field to the UCF game where he came back from a blind side hit that would have ended the day for most QBs. Instead he dusts himself off and skull drags the Knights the rest of the game.

Burrow no doubt has the "it" factor.

wish we couldve seen rohan or jamarcus in this offense/present day.

that said, joeyb is running with this opportunity and is the best statistically weve ever had.

Definitely the greatest of my time which dates back to the late 70s. I guess I could make a case for Jamarcus or Rohan. Flynn and Hodson had good seasons too. Our offense is a good bit different today than it once was, but I don't ever remember a QB as accurate as Joe.

I get this but Passing accuracy, and decision making goes hand in hand with all offensive schemes. I’ve seen a lot of inaccurate passers and a lot of poor decision making when it comes time to passing over the last 25 years. Let’s just enjoy what we have going right now!

Championships are a team effort. The 3 QBs that have led LSU to National Championships are nowhere in the discussion of “best ever” at LSU (no disrespect to Rabb, Mauck and Flynn).

There’s plenty of debate. More importantly there’s plenty of season left. If Burrow throws three interceptions against Bama causing us to lose the game, then there’s no debate.

Also, if he continues on his present course, and wins a natty, there’s no debate.

Bert Jones and Tommy Hodson has to be at least in the discussion with maybe Rohan Davey and JaMarcus Russell. However, Burrow is very special and makes a best ever list, no question.

I’d just like to know how his hair stays in perfect condition after he takes his helmet off.
