To be fair, Burrow and Daniels both got here in the spring and made their first starts a few months later. This is Nuss's 4th year at LSU, longer than BK has been here. He's going into it with more familiarity with his coaches and teammates.

Daniels had 3 years of experience starting before arriving at LSU. Nuss is way ahead of him in terms of development as a QB.

CJ Costello threw for more yards in 1 game than Burrow or Daniels in 3.

Got benched 2 games later.

Now do the rushing.

By this do you mean the entire lack of a run game to help Nuss?

This isn't the problem and he's more than capable of rushing and escaping pressure. Did both in this game.

He is not JB and does not pose a running threat like JD. He needs to get his and his offense's shite together.

Burrow had inferior offensive coaching compared to the others.

Sloan has never been an OC before. Get over it. Nuss is just as disadvantaged if not more and outplayed both our Heisman winners in his first starts. I feel like some of you jackasses really think you're getting some revenge for some perceived slight by acting like total morons and hypocrites. It's the only possible explanation for the insane double standard with how you acted toward JD versus Nuss and how you keep denying reality.

He also has no run support.

In 2018, Burrow's 1st season individual RBs had games of:
125
137
136
95
145
90
100
117

Our "best OL in history" just got it's shite pushed in run blocking vs Nicholls

Not taking anything away from Nuss but rushing was a big part of those guys success

Burrow rushed for 399 and 368. Let’s not act like that was at the heart of what made him effective, especially in 2019. He certainly wasn’t anywhere close to Daniels rushing yards. Burrow was capable of picking up some first downs and a little more when needed.

Nuss showed tonight that he’s capable of doing the same. He just has to pick the right spots and start doing it to keep defenses more honest.
