BS Replay fair ball call bottom 9th Florida game!! Math Geeks Needed!

Whoever watches the replay can make an argument either way depending on which angle the camera faces....Only way to be accurate is to have a camera directly on the line much like a goal line TD replay in football......Having said that, it made me think there must be a way to figure it out mathematically, but unfortunately that ain't me (English notwithstanding) .......I know there are LSU math geeks out there that can figure a way to determine if it was fair or not based on angle and distance from foul line etc.....Please enlighten us if possible? Thanks

There's no question whether the ball was fair or not.

Move on. Farley was out so it's a wash.

You typed all that shite for an invalid argument. Feel better?

It evened out. Fraley was out at the plate.

The left fielder could have just caught the ball.

My legion coach always said "angle of the dangle equals the muckit of the frickit"

That ball was almost certainly fair and Fraley was clearly out at the plate, so I'd say we have been fortunate overall.

Make the catch and there's no argument.

It was a fair ball.
Damn, what a dumb post.

Really? If I'm that dumb what does it make the umpire who was 10ft right on the line who was only looking at two things.....Did he catch it and was it fair? Duh

If you look at the angle of deflection where he hit it with his glove versus the distance outside the line it landed it looked foul to me.
The angle of deflection looks fairly narrow - maybe 15-20 degrees and the ball landed a good ways foul. His glove was maybe 3-4 feet off the ground.
I could diagram it out and try to calculate it, but at a the end of the day they said it was fair so it was fair.

It was fair, but how can they award a double? I'll never understand that part

Don't tease me man, my rep is on the line...My momma didn't raise no dummy

This dummy would be at rem stage right now if they had a camera on foul ball line.

My question is why it was not ruled a two base error when Breaux clearly had the ball hit in his glove and pop out? Long run, but clearly should have been caught. Guess they just wanted to give UF an earned run instead of unearned.
