The "Underwood CAMP".
This used to be the responsibility of a parent or the high school coach.
Now a kid that hasn't thrown a college practice pass has a "camp".
It's not going to get any more palatable for long-time college football fans.

Kelly's made mistakes for sure.
The LSU record this season is not great, but it probably matches the talent on the field. We knew at the beginning of the season that the DTs were a HUGE question mark. We knew at the beginning of the season that there were question marks all over the defense. The safety play has been abysmal. I think Baker is doing the best he can with what he has. I don't think they could have filled all of the holes from the portal and still pulled in the #1 recruiting class. Too few dollars chasing too much need.
The talent on the field is going to improve. Sure, I worry about the 2023 class< but I believe that class is more the result of the coaches at that time and their recruiting efforts, than a sign of the times. And while I worry about the 2023 class, I like the 2024 class, and I love the 2025 class.
This year is more the result of gaps in talent on the field than the result in gaps in the coaching ability. Nuss does not fit Kelly's and Sloan's preferred offensive scheme. They are trying to scheme for him. It's not going well.

Look bro, I'm not 100% convinced he's coming to LSU. Just because he's "verbally" committed, doesn't mean squat. I've seem many, many high school kids change their minds throughout the recruiting process, and then change their minds on the day of signing. Do I want him here? Of course.

He has essentially laughed at Michigan’s offer and nobody else is really trying for him anymore. He will be at LSU no matter what you think
