What would’ve happened against Little Rock had Jones still been in the 2 hole instead of Frey?? Probably a couple strike outs instead of 4-4

idk. im talking about today. the moves today were made for obvious reasons, they just ended up not mattering. these guys scored 16 and won by 7 for crying out loud.

They never will. We have a young coach that can coach and is a great recruiter. He can have us competitive on the National scene for the next 20 years.

Pretty good for a guy who has no clue what he’s doing and tinkers too much…or keeps the lineup the same too much. I’m not sure anymore I can’t keep up with the mood of the little girls on here.

I would think people would learn not to question Jay’s decisions. Both recent changes of the lineup worked out great. The positions and earning walks was big and we don’t know how it would have worked with the old lineup. We do know how it worked out with his latest lineup. Jay is the best imo.

Gotta earn some of those free passes right?

LSU has good players all around. The lineup order matters much less than the fans think

You're right. 16 runs is terrible.

Moving Curiel to 7th was not a smart move when you consider how much he gets on base (I don’t care if a lefty was pitching).

I agree the rant as a whole is very infatuated with it. It does make for good conversation. I don’t think leads to major offensive outbursts, but I do think it makes it difficult for relief selection. Jay puts a lot of thought into his lineups. A lot more work into it than I and most of the rant do into the scouting and analytics.

Gives him more time to watch the pitcher, see his patterns, time him etc.
