I hope he is ready to get dirty as frick recruiting.

I don't doubt Bruce Pearl is happy to have replaced Will Wade with this guy.

Absolutely a great hire considering where we are. Murray State is a consistent winner and all of the BS I hear about it's the program not the coach is just that. A coach still has to recruit the right athletes and he still has to coach them regardless of the program.

I do think there are programs who are consistently good but at least McMahon kept the boat rolling.
I would be fricking pissed if we fired the coach who couldn't win consistently at Murray St vs the one who has won consistently. Hopefully he gets to a point where he builds our program and uses the experience at Murray St. to know how to sustain it.

Isn't this guy's resume better than Wade's when he was hired? Were you psyched when LSU hired Wade? If so, what in Wade's resume had you excited?
Also, Pearl's comments were made before any reports surfaced about him to LSU.
