“The NCAA suspending someone for two years for an alleged fraudulent drug test seems pretty out of whack considering some of the stuff that doesn't even warrant a two-game suspension for some coaches and players.”

It would take an entirely separate board to cover all of the NCAAs insane, hypocritical rules and rules implementation that has occurred over the years. It’s to the point where it doesn’t even phase me anymore.

Has the NCAA ever lost an appeal? I don't think they ever involve 3rd parties unless suit is filed.

I think they are going to file suit after LSU's appeal was denied.

And don't scoff at using lawyers from Alabama. They are likely connected to BHam, and have the networking to undermine any push back.

Just look at Ezekiel Elliot and the NFL. The police dropped the case against him due to lack of evidence, the NFL investigator said there was not enough evidence and the NFL suspended him anyway. Boss man's gonna do what he's gonna do.

this attitude is so tiring. it's like self flagellation. you do not even know for sure what the kid did and it's "our" fault. I got news for you, "we" didn't do anything.

why do some people, you included, blame LSU for everything? people break rules and they get caught and they pay the consequences. next time you break a rule at your place of employment see who gets blamed. it will be YOU; not your employer.

breaking away from the NCAA? have you honestly evaluated the ramifications of that? try that. it would be suicide for LSU athletics. surely, that's not what you want.

Shocked! Shocked, I tell you. Well, prepare to be shocked. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if he wins the appeal.

Get caught with a stolen weapon and drugs and get a pass because you have been sweating in the hot sun all summer while others sit in air conditioning. Try to deceive on a drug test and sit out two years. Makes perfect sense.
