It will surprise me if that's the case.

He's going to be very, very good.

So you don’t think he feels bad? I want to hear from him about what happened. He lost it all of a sudden.

You know he is. He is gonna be a great LSU player, I believe. I suspect this will drive him even harder.

Most of those never really played competitive baseball. Everyone makes errors. Yes, it was devastating but no one is beating him up like he is beating himself up, I promise you that.

That ball has to be caught. Plain and simple.

That’s the downside of participating in a very public activity. Grown adults will lavishly praise you when you do well. Some to the point of extreme wierdom. So you have to be willing to live with the unnecessarily harsh criticism when you make a poor play.

This is how I feel. Quit moving our players around for Kling! Jays a good coach but quit with this Kling shite. He may as well close his eyes when he’s at the plate.

Brown should’ve caught the ball. He’ll be fine.

Did you actually watch the game? Jay put Frey in to pinch hit for Larson, not Kling. The put Kling in center because he is our best outfielder.

What a moronic statement. You’ve never played a team game and made an error?

That was a horrible error at the worst possible time. We somehow got through the entire game without doing some stupid shite. He choked and let a great group of guys down.

Don’t blame the kid. He’s played 1500 games on his life. He’s had 20000 practices on his life. Any catch a fly ball. It’s the travel ball can’t lose but not develop kids is the problem

Reminds me of the Skip documentary discussing Ben McDonald. As a freshman, McDonald gave up a Grand Slam with a three run lead with two outs in the bottom of the 10th. He was distraught. Bertman asked what he was going to do about it. Turned out well Ben.

I’m not mad at him. I’m just glad he has 2 more years. We wouldn’t be in that situation if it weren’t for him. I for one will never bash an outfield consider I can’t judge a fly ball to save my life.

He probably will, but he will never be a good defensive outfielder.
