According to Google:
Yes, plural not possessive is correct grammar, meaning you should never use an apostrophe to make a noun plural.
I guess both instances could be correct. I am not wrong often as I grew up with the grammar nazi of all grammar nazis. The man was super intelligent and had had a Masters in Physics when he was 4 months into being 22 y.o.
