Brossette was huge in pass protection. The offensive staff trusted him to cut the Auburn edge rusher and this, along with very solid OL play, helped keep the pressure off Burrow.
This skill will only increase his value at the next level. Look what it did for Joseph Addai.
Joey B likes it!

Pass protection was greatly improved and #4 played a role in that.

If they keep the pocket clean Joe will have a great season. He has great accuracy when he has time.

This is really good to see, because he had some misses in pass protection in the first two games. He looks about as good as you can in these clips.

Nice gifs man. Brossette was great. Hell, pass pro as a whole was incredible given the circumstances

Quality thread bro...
For what it's worth, he looks like a FB going after LBs in those clips.

And folks who obviously don’t know how to watch fb claimed he was invisible and that the rb position was weak

Most people watch the ball. It's understandable for casuals. But considering the best view down the line is lines and offensive backfield. It's pretty easy to see the foundation and attack of the play. I've refereed football for years so maybe that's why. But you can see most holds and bad blocking. Thankfully refs call big time takedowns, but there is also a lot let go as well. As far as running back pass pro? It's nice when a big ugly shoots through and that running back can get in his way for sure. So many good backs get cut in the NFL regardless of talent

Moreau, too. The pass protection was excellent. The linemen did very well, and so did the backs and TE. This was one of the most surprising performances by an LSU unit I’ve seen.

Coaching and determination to improve is the correct answer.
Atta boy, Nick, keep up the good work.
