i guess I missed the release of this I thought I had seen every season.
Why is it so insufferably liberal this season like they all hate the facts they are cops on a cop show. The rest of the show was never this bad. Almost ruins the whole thing.

That season was written after the George Floyd stuff and they felt guilty about portraying cops in a comedic role.
It was dumb then, and it's still dumb. I never watched the first episode of that season, but I did watch the rest of the season because I wanted to finish out the series. I don't remember a lot of it though.

The first couple of episodes are so forced about it
It’s jarring because it’s such a different tone then the rest of the show
But it gets back to normal once they make their statement about it

I haven't been able to bring myself to watch the final season after reading so many bad things on here. I am worried that it would have the impact on the show that the final season of How I Met Your Mother did. Instead, I want to remember it as the best comedy on TV for a good few years.
Whenever I tell someone about B99 and suggest they watch it, I show them the cold opener where they are doing a lineup and have them all sing "I Want it That Way".
