Bringing your own cups into Tiger Stadium

Has anyone every been turned away? I see cups/containers are listed as a prohibited item, but wondering how strictly it's actually enforced. I mean, if I bring in an empty cup to pour the drinks I purchase in, who's it hurting?
FTR I'm asking because I want to know if I'll be able to bring in an Rtic tumbler. I want to tailgate with one and I'd rather not have to worry about dropping it off at the car before every game. Also, it'd be nice if the whiskey coke I make at kickoff isn't 1/3 melted ice before the 2nd quarter

I have honestly never seen anyone with anything but drinks in cups that are sold at the concession stand.
try it if you want, but I wouldn't try with anything that I didn't mind throwing away at the gate.

Definitely no cups with lids the reason they don't give lids with ur Coke is incase u throw it it it won't hurt someone.. If someone threw an rtic cup full of liquid it would knock someone out.... Now if it were a yeti it would probably kill someone

Two years ago LSU was playing a smaller school, but I can't remember exactly which one. I'm at the concession stand getting some drinks and this 60ish year old guy from the opposing team is behind me drinking a 16oz Budweiser. He has a carry ice chest in his other hand. I said how in the hell did you get that in here. He said he just walked in and no one said shite. Never hurts to try I guess.

About 10 years ago my seats were in the west upper deck. Back then, we saw drunks throwing full cups of drinks from the upper deck. Pretty sure some folks got injured. I would like to see all plastic cups gone from TS.
