meaning so far...CW does better against the blitz than he does against max coverage

imo i think our DEs will be able to get some pressure...bring Weeks or burns some and drop 6-7 in coverage most of the time should be the game plan to start with blitz package ready if we need to pivot

so even though we thrive when blitzing, connor thrives when being blitzed.

I gotta admit, most A&M fanboys are delusional, but I have to admit, you seem to be one of the more sensible ones… Now keep that same energy after we bury your faggies Saturday.

I'm a good sportsman when we lose.

I've had lots of practice.

Blake beat Collin head to head last year. It’d be interesting to see someone who knows ball break that game down from an X’s and O’s standpoint.

Focus on stopping the run then make him beat us with his arm

THIS! Make this guy pass to beat us. Bring selective/disguised pressure, rely on Z. Alexander to shut down his side, and play tighter in space (don't give up clean/open underneath throws). Force him into mistakes and take those mistakes to the endzone. Early on this season I would not be saying this, but I don't think TAM has seen a scheme or the athletes to execute it, that LSU brings to play Saturday night.

We'll go in on stopping the run. We'll force Weigman to beat us through the air. TAMU rushes 63% of the time. They'll try to establish the run. Put it on lock.

Once LSU goes up 10-14 points, it is over for TAMU.

A&M offense seems similar to AR. A similar plan to what we did to them should work well.

The OP is spot on... Weigman is struggling. and Ill be honest, i watched him several times at Bridgeland, he doesnt have that "it" factor... hes a great kid, comes from a great family but he isnt a p4 qB. he should transfer to a Pitt like Holstein did and let the game slow down... the game is moving waaaaay too fast for him... its the back up kid that would have me worried. hes mobile

I feel like the gameplan will be similar to Arkansas. Stop the run, no big passing plays and make Weigman throw 8 yard passes down the field.

Coverage/zone like we did with Arkansas.

It limited the big plays in the run game along with any scrambles from the QB.

Their QB struggles reading coverages so we need to mix it up which I trust Baker will do.

dont be surprised if LSU comes out and plays coverage to start to see if Weigman can beat them with a clean pocket.

Maybe they don't blitz, but if the ends can get home, then they're going to absolutely try to destroy his arse.

If he is a decent runner then I think we will see more zone like we did against Arky. That way you keep the QB in front of you and don’t give up big gains. We can still apply pressure with run blitzes and play zone. Baker does a nice job of disguising his coverage which helps with our pass rush.
