No, but he beat our arse in Nashville when we had Fournette. I was at that game and he outcoached us, although John Chavis was basically an absentee DC as he’d already agreed to go to A&M.

Understood…but were fúcking Louisiana State University and this type of record vs ranked opponents is absolutely unacceptable. When you consider the recruiting hotbed, coaching staff salary, sold out games, prime time TV slots- the product they’re putting out is absolute garbage.

I agree with you even though I'm pissed at what happened last night. I don't know who people thinks we should have hired when we hired BK. There weren't a lot of choices that made sense. We dodged several bullets by not hiring them. If your new head coach comes becomes available, go after him but until, we don't have better choices.

Kelly has lost more games against ranked teams by double digits than he has wins against ranked teams. Let that sink in. No other coach in America could have done such an amazing job.

We won a championship in 2019. Pointing to a record in one year in no way quantifies the “resources” available to him. LSU has plenty of resources, $100M of them are tied up with Kelly. I’m baffled when I see people saying this was some type of huge turnaround job.
We should absolutely expect to be where UGA and bama are, what’s the point if that isn’t the expectation?
And further, what’s year 4 going to look like? Year 5? What aspect of the program has Kelly improved? He has been here 3 years now.
I’m not trying to run him off, but people seem to be giving him a pass for producing the same results as the last two coaches, both of which were run off. Our expectations need to be a championship.
