Speaking of belonging, Ed Orgeron, really "belonged" here at LSU. He spoke like us, he talked like us and he managed the program like we would especially in the last 2 years, when we showed the world how we could lose top players every week, and still manage to go 5-5, 6-7.

We also showed the world how we could use a 35 man roster without a QB, and hold a football powerhouse like Kansas State to a very close 21-42. Did you know we actually scored in the last play of the game. In credible!!!!!!

Those were the seasons that we enjoyed truly...........

I fully understand why we are not happy going 10-4, 10-3 and 9-4. Nothing brings more pleasure than going 5-5 or 6-7.

Say what you will about the ND schedule, but they were 7-0 against ranked teams. Kelly has never been perfect against ranked teams at the D1 level. Maybe it’s Freeman being a better game coach. Maybe it’s Freeman giving his coordinators more freedom to do their jobs unlike Kelly.

Or maybe its a team taking advantage of the weakest field and bracket in cfp history. Notre dame is good, ive profited from it. But lets not act like kelly at notre dame couldnt beat a decent uga team without their starting qb and penn st, who never wins big games. Kelly’s teams lost to teams that would throttle anyone else left in these playoffs

Well you gotta stack wins to get to the playoffs…so I fail to see the point.

CBK did better at ND then Freeman. He made the playoffs and national championship game while playing a tougher SOS and when ND had higher academic standards. CBK also had a perfect regular season record and never lost to Northern Illinois. ND wouldn't have even sniffed the playoffs this year under the old system.
.

You're delusional. That 2012 ND team played a weak schedule and squeaked by a bunch of crappy teams and was exposed by Bama. How many playoff games did Kelly win at ND? Zero. And almost every computer ranking this year had Notre Dame in the top 3 before the playoffs began. I'm not saying BK won't win a NC at LSU; he may well do it. But dumping on Marcus Freeman and Notre Dame is ridiculous.

Well damn he did a shitty job with Matt House! What can you say about that? I mean BK did hire both Mike Denbrock and Marcus freeman ! Give credit whwr credit is due! Dude is doing everything you people are asking him to do right now ! Going into the portal paying guys he hired an elite defensive staff ! Lost Denbrock In which im sure you were one of them knocking this guy in his first season here ! Had to hire within for the coordinator! LSU had a first year dc and a first year Oc and went 8-4 after losing some top tier talent on offensive and yet you damn like were hoping for a national championship after a shite show defense in 2023 and losing 3 first round draft picks on offense what the hell did you expect to happen ?

Bro. Say what you want about the bracket. Notre dame beat the #9 #2, and #5 team in the country back to back to back.

You whine about depleted georgia? Are you joking?

Nd played that game missing:

#1 wde
#2 wde
#1 dt
#1 cb
#3 cb
#1 center
#1 lt
#3 rb
And top rb played 7 snaps due to injury.

Get over it.

Brian Kelly wasn't allowed to buy players in the transfer portal when he was at ND either.

You notice that ND wasn't even top 10 until they finally started getting players (13 to be exact this season) in the portal.

Gee, I wonder why that would be helpful for them?

Stop trying to compare apples and oranges.

Maybe. Maybe not.

tOSU has a road game tonight against a team from the SEC SEC SEC. They're not even in the title game yet.

And if tOSU can lose at home to a crappy UM team, N D is capable of beating them, too.

Sure would suck for y'all to pay a guy $100mm and see his replacement at ND playing for a natty!
