If anyone wants to throw their money away by giving to Bayou Traditions, go right ahead.
Personally, I find the existence of such a fund distasteful. I’m not giving my hard earned money to an organization that may use a percentage of it to entice a 17 year old kid to play for a university that I paid handsomely to attend myself. Especially when there is no guarantee he won’t bolt at a moment’s notice.
If paying players is the most important thing in college football now, LSU should hire less expensive coaches, spend less on facilities and use all that money to buy athletes instead.
If we had a $1mil coach and used $9mil on the roster, do you think we’d be better or worse than 8-4?

He's already set the record for biggest donation by sitting LSU coach with $1 million grant.

Maybe donate a million each year BK to help insure you have the 4-5 Stars needed to win him a championship it’s a tax write off for him, I. That tax bracket a welcome one.

Why not? NCAA keeps losing lawsuits left and right anyways, BK needs to open up BKs chicken shack, and pay players 100k an hour to reheat chicken nuggets.
Ok iind of like paying out of your wife’s bank account.

Obviously the big donors will do most of the leg work but if you can’t donate $5 as a fan damn

He can start by offering $5 MILLION of his $10 million per year.. IF he was really serious about coming to LSU to win a NATTY. That was his reason for coming...we all read it....so let's HIM put his money where his mouth is.

Yes, because after I pay the mortgage, and all the standard bills, and food for 6 kids and a wife, the first thing I want to do is give money to LSU to pay some dumbass 18 year old to go play a game.

There are several ways to contribute to NIL without just writing a check and getting nothing in return. LSU is hosting another Bayou Traditions gala (or whatever it is) to raise NIL funds. Buy a ticket to that and get some free food, drinks, etc. out of it. Subscribe to LSU gold, buy directly from the LSU sports shop.

Stewart $1.25 million per year and BK is basically saying we don't have enough money.
Never said we don’t have enough money he actually said they weren’t going to over spend.

Dude, he isn't overspending because he can't afford to overspend. He was up there basically begging for donors to give more money.

I feel like college football makes enough money to pay their own players. They should have done it years ago to avoid this mess.

When revenue sharing starts and players are employees eventually, we will look back at coaches panhandling to fans as a very silly time.

Dumb question.
BK couldn’t donate of his own earned money to bayou traditions?
What’s the difference of him donating to it and us regular peons?
Besides him earning $10 milly/year.
