What moron gives these kind of bucks in a buyout if the coach fails to perform?

This coaching fraternity is as bad as the CEOs that run companies into bankruotcy and then leave with a golden parachute.

Not an alter, just being realistic. I prefer to keep my expectations low so I’ll never be disappointed. Pessimism is the way to go.

The guy selected Matt House as his Defensive Coordinator. Let that sink in.

And the “oh but Notre Dame has such stringent admissions” excuse doesn’t work anymore.

I never bought into that.

What, dumb guys are automatically better football players than smart guys?

Those “stringent academic standards” never stopped Notre Dame from winning multiple NCs in the past.

Smarter people are upset that the offense is so one dimensional that Nuss has to throw 50+ times a game and the entire game is in his shoulders every single week.

If you ever thought Kelly was going to be 50/50 pass/run then you are simpleminded…..60/40 pass/run at best is what it will be. It was doing OK until they scored on short fields for 3 interceptions (2 of which were 100% on Nuss). That’s when they had to go 100% pass.

We are literally one TD drive away from blowing A&M out and Nuss throws a bad INT. Things are never as good as they seem or as bad as they seem.

He left just before he overstayed his welcome. He left earlier than they wanted but they were starting the process
