Not sure why you’re getting so much shite about saying Nuss is likely coming back

I mean, until he decided to show some grit and take off diving for first downs when receivers were covered, I was disappointed he was returning

I saw enough from him and heard enough from Kelly postgame to re-instill some confidence in the direction ofthe program

This win in my eyes was bigger than the Ole Miss game, but won’t be celebrated as such

I feel like BK knows Nuss is coming back and that is why he was so aggro in the post game presser about next year

we dont know how Perk’s rehab is going, LSU Pro Day will be about six months from the injury. ACL is at best a six month injury recovery. If he cant test at Pro Day his draft position is a crap shoot. may be better for Perk to return and focus on playing CFB next year.

Jones can move to LOT to raise his stock or into ROG, which is probably what he is in the NFL

Daniels should definitely come back

ZY needs to go, he is NFL ready to me

Campbell had an up and down year, but I think he goes. Probably a ROT in the NFL to be honest, speed rushers are a problem

If Adams was healthy, I don’t think Mubenga would be out there. He’s only able to play a few snaps per game after his surgery, but Adams has some game experience and is versatile. He was the first guy off the bench to sub at Guard or Tackle, Weston Davis will hopefully be ready. But they need to go out and bring in a couple of experienced IOL to bolster the rotation and add competition.

As for Chester, I don’t think he will ever be a good SEC Center. He’s already taller than ideal and he isn’t fast enough off the snap (even though he has been on at snapping the ball). If he can get stronger, maybe he would be better shifted to Guard. Then you have Echols and whoever we bring in from portal battle for Center.

Adams was #6 before he got hurt. Chester started 12 games, he is a RS FR and you had some growing pains. I don't see how he does not start somewhere next year

Because they need an entirely new OL on the interior. With Campbell/Jones potentially gone, that's likely a new OL chemistry wise. If they don't find help on the interior they will be in trouble next year unless you somehow see some huge progression on players.

How do you know it wasn't the opposite? Maybe Kelly left him alone and let him call his plays the last 2 games.

and Nuss
if you got those guys back plus Perkins then expectation should be 10-2 at least and playoffs

I could potentially see Emory Jones back if he wants to go over to LT. Barring transfers this wouldn’t be awful:

LT Emory Jones
LG Paul Mubenga
C DJ Chester
RG Bo Bordelon
RT Weston Davis

Maybe Nuss can convince him that he owes him for almost getting him killed! Lol

Perkins, jones, nuss, Anderson, Daniels, & Hilton wouldn’t be considered “big names” for this team? Any 5 star freshman you could possibly replace any of those guys with wouldn’t amount to the production any of those guys could give you next year.

A new Oline will be an adjustment for sure but the proof is in the pudding for 2nd year starters, as of late. There’s so much he could improve on and increase his stock.

He still a top 10 pick. Nuss running into defensive ends is not his fault, and while his run blocking can improve, he's still an elite pass blocker.

I hope he doesn't, but despite your constant bashing of him all season long, he is projected pretty high. It is funny, almost every analyst and commentator talk about his talent and being one of the best out there, but ole' Lester, he knows way more. What's also funny is that both JB and JD were projected MUCH WORSE than Nuss in the draft, after their first year starting.

What these analyst see is a one dimensional team with a spotty OL (especially after the A&M injury to LG) and non existent running game. Sure there is room for improvement, and the last few games he looked like he was turning the corner on his decision making. He did something last night that Alabama, or any other team this year couldn't do, that was carve up the OU defense.

You have been wrong about Nuss. Take your medicine. Let's just hope he comes back because it truly appears that he is turning the corner JUST LIKE JB and JD in their last few games in their first year starting at LSU.

LOL. That guy will be a huge bust. Bookmark this. He will have too much of daddy involvement to ever make it. Never going against good defenses. This will be a bust ranking up there with Jamarcus and Ryan L. Bookmark it.

But, Milroe will be a bust too. Dude will go early in the draft probably, get rich, and never be heard from again. It happens.

Nuss could be an All Pro and this idiot would still be talking about how bad Nuss is. He is ONE OF THOSE. Once his opinion is formed, objectivity is out the window, the only thing left is defending his stance.
