I'm told #LSU's Brian Kelly has offered the OC position to Tommy Rees and DC position to Marcus Freeman. Both are under consideration to be the head coach at #NotreDame. Big decisions on deck for Jack Swarbrick. Fluid talks occurring today:

Tommy Rees is already under consideration to be a HC at a major program?

It feels like he just stopped playing for Notre Dame yesterday.

No way he gets Freeman. If ND offers the job to Fickell, Cincy likely gived the HC job to Freeman or ND gives the HC to Freeman. Either way I doubt he's coming here.

Seems like BK is doing them a favor by forcing ND to make a decision on one or the other

It would be absolutely shocking if Kelly could pull this off. No complaints though.

Seems like the fans want to keep freeman and don’t care about Rees.

Notre Dame is 11-1 and can possibly make the play in game for the national championship and a majority of their staff is going to leave before? Thats wild

ND gets in it will be at 4th spot and UGA will bounce them out pretty quick. I fully expect UGA to take out decades of frustration in Gumps this weekend.

If Freeman agrees to come be the DC, that would be hilarious on so many levels. First, the obvious part of him turning us down a year ago for the same job. Second, Notre Dame loses their head coach and interim in the same week while still having a good shot at the CFP

Fickell to ND, Freeman to Cincy. That's how I see it going.
I think the DC will be somebody else for sure.

Turning down the LSU DC position and turning down Orgeron are not the same thing.

Can you imagine how we would be handling this situation at LSU? Pretty sure we'd be burning shite down.
