I didn't even know that was a rule. Makes you wonder why Les Miles and O didn't have a house within 1 mile of campus then.

Miles had a condo off campus above VooDoo BBQ on Nicholson, Orgeron had a unit at the Crescent.

He can sit on his front porch and has a view of tiger stadium… and you can probably pick out his house from an upper deck of the stadium… for someone that lives at his office if I had to guess that sounds pretty sweet… any any house on the lakes is a dream house to me.

To be fair, Les did this too.

...but then it turned into something a tad more sinister.

Exactly. Nice home on a lake less than a mile from your work. Sounds like a dream situation.
shite, he could walk to the football operations building. I remember watching a YouTube video of Mike Leach walking to work when he was at Washington State. He even had a coffee shop he would stop at every day.

Smart man but hopefully he has an armed brigade so he doesn't get shot and stabbed
It's located at the LSU Lakes, not the ghetto north of campus on Highland Road.

Used to go jogging by the exact house BK bought almost every day in the early 1990s when i was at LSU, as they were building it.. i can remember it like it was last month, and can tell you the songs that would play on my Walkman (seriously) as i passed that house.. Life is a Highway- Tom Cochran.. To Be With You- Mr Big.. November Rain- GnR… i know , ‘cool story, Gramps’.. anyway, i used to daydream about winning the Powerball and buying that house one day.. never thought that the head coach of LSU football would live in it 30 yrs later .

We were at LSU at the same time. Every personality quirk you have, any emotional outburst that might occur, just know it’s not your fault. The Curley Hallman years left us hollow and apathetic towards everything in life. We know not what we do.

It looks like the house across from the Bird Sanctuary is listed under The Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University. Could that be it?

I think that is the home reserved for the school

Does the rule state that it has to be the coaches main residence? If not, then our previous coaches are dumber than we thought. With the money they banked it wouldn’t have set them back at all to have a 2nd house to be able to host recruits.

You get me… People dont belive me when i tell them how bad LSU football was back then.. that for a time, we weren’t even a ‘football school’ we actually became a basketball school .. and baseball , to an extent- but the support wasnt what it is now.. But the fact that we were there at the same time as Shaq and got to watch him shatter a few backboards kind of makes up for it .. Kind of .

Sinister ? Come on…. I mean, cheating on ur wife isnt cool, but if you were an older guy who had young blond LSU coeds who wanted to bang you, all’s im saying is dont be so 100% sure you wouldnt go for it… ‘Sinister’ is too strong a word IMO

Seeing Shaq in the quad was kinda cool. I’m 5’10” and I came up to his armpit.
