Brennan's Freak Fall - Should be no need to whack this thread now.

Myles Brennan's dad, Owen, was just on WWL explaining how Miles broke his arm. He was fishing on Grand Isle on his week off. While carrying two armloads of fishing equipment to the boat, his flip flops got caught on a loose board on the pier, causing him to fall and hit is arm. There is nothing wrong with that.
I started a thread yesterday asking why everything was so hush hush and it was promptly whacked as though something sinister were going on. If they would reported this from the beginning there would not have been so much speculation.
Myles is a fine young man and a true Tiger from a great family. I wish him a full and speedy recovery.

It was a bad look trying to keep it hush hush. That just welcomes speculation and people are going to assume it's being hidden for a reason.

They are free American citizens. They do a lot of things that all the other college kids do. Myles just got unlucky.

Likely wanted to get 1-2 ortho specialists to look at it before deciding on surgery. I doubt they were intentionally keeping it hush hush, they just needed to figure out course of action before making it public knowledge.

It was whacked because there was WILD speculation all over the place about how it happened.

I'd much rather him out fishing than doing or dealing drugs and many other things. To think that these kids need to be in strict isolation in bubble wrap is pitiful.
