Copied this article since most Gannett articles are behind a paywall. Our staff will choose the guy they feel gives us the best chance of winning, but for me personally…I’m rooting for Myles to be the guy. If the oline can do their job and give him protection, I think he’s got a shot to have the 2nd best single season for a QB in LSU history.
We get to 9 or 10 wins in the regular season, I really don’t care who the QB is.

How can anyone NOT pull for this guy. In the modern era, no one stays around for a sixth year. He is mature, smart, competitive & talented with leadership qualities. Potentially, this is another Tom Brady story being written.

This is the type of character we want on the team. Rooting for him to win the job and have a huge season. The young man has handled everything with class.

This week he's had the chance to catch up with former teammate Max Johnson, who transferred to Texas A&M after being LSU's starter last year.
