Get it through your thick skulls!
After six years his heart was no longer in it enough for the rigor that the sport demands at such a high level. And who can blame him?

We should be banning any post hereafter with the name Brennan in it!

He wasn’t named the starter. I don’t blame him for not wanting to sit on the bench his senior season. Brennan is far better than Daniel’s.

I believed that at first, but I don't now. Kelly begged Brennan to come back. He did, and from what we saw, Brennan looked the best of the QBs during the spring game. Kelly then goes out and brings in Daniels and suddenly Brennan doesn't want to play football anymore. Something's rotten in Denmark.

Brennan is a genius getting away from this sinking ship.

He knew how awful a HC Brian Kelly is before the rest of us figured it out.

This was mostly Denbrock’s doing. He didn’t know how to coach him and wanted a dual threat QB. They basically ignored Brennan once Daniels was brought in so he said frick it I’m out.

Then why aren't we running more RPO?

They basically showed him the door when they brought JD in. And in first week of practice, he was number one and Nuss at number two. Staff clearly wanted a upperclassmen at number one(JD), and a second year guy for his backup. Makes sense. it sucks for the ones who kind of get shown the door. but it's the way the real world works. Time to move on, he did. So should we. But still got love for the time he put in for the program while he was here.

If this is true, then why hasn't he transferred to start somewhere else instead of choosing to end his football career?

I have a boat and would love to take Daniels fishing on Saturdays. Maybe I could teach him how to fish better than he plays QB.

While we're all hypothesizing, Brennan still has a year of eligibility left. Maybe he's just gonna work out and head to a team through the portal as soon as the season ends. If I had his ability I'd be taking one last shot at the pros.

Dude has been posting his hunting and fishing pictures on Instagram every Saturday. He was fishing in Boston it looked like last week in a sick boat, Brennan does not care he's not playing football anymore

Nope, he saw the scheme and writing in the wall that BK wanted JD starting before he got on campus. BK was recruiting him hard to go to ND.
It was stupid to bring JD here, for several reasons other than he can't throw meaningful passes. Thise other reasons are about to show more, including losing the team over his thick skull about playing JD

It's illegal for Brennan to have other hobbies.

I'm surprised he hasn't been arrested yet.

Brennan in many ways was what Daniels was last night. Statistically pretty good but if you watch the game, unable to move the ball when it matters…Daniels is actually better on 3rd downs. It’s all revisionist history now that MB left
