Wrong
We had 479 yards on 68 plays vs Missouri
We had 418 yards on 86 plays vs Florida
We punted 5 times vs Missouri and 8 times vs Florida
We only 20 1st down vs Missouri and only 24 vs Florida.
We scored 5 offensive TDs vs Missouri and only 3 vs Florida.
There is no arguement that the offense moved the ball better vs Florida than Missouri.
They did convert 8 more 3rd downs. But they got into a 3rd down situation 9 More times because they gained less yards on 1st and 2nd.
That’s why that stat is worthless out of context.
The only 3rd down that matters is the one at the end of the drive. Converting 1 and punting doesn’t mean you Moved the ball better if you only got 11 yards in 6 plays.

Your right Myles having the ball at the 1 yard line of Mizzou with 4 downs and not being able to put the ball in the end zone is not his fault at all. Completely shitting the bed in the red zone and on 3rd down over and over again that game wasn’t his fault.
Did the defense help? No they sure as hell didn’t but to act like Brennen was some god vs Mizzou is a joke. He was average at best.

It's not a factor, because he chooses not to make it a factor. Just like how Brennan's 0/10 on third down is constantly brought up, but when you bring up that Johnson's third down % was also bad, it's dismissed. That's what happens when you just pick and choose what is relevant. And then when these people run out of arguments, then they go to "it" factor.
Just like our loses are somehow pinned on just Brennan alone, while completely ignoring the defense. It's also ignored that our OLine, play calling, running game, was pretty garbage last year.

They either end in punts or FG.,

We scored 41 points we easily could have won that game.
We had 5 defensive stops the whole game. They punted 1 time. If we don’t have a blocked FG we aren’t going for it on 4th down we’re kicking a chip shot to win.

Its not like Max didn't get 9 extra possessions out of OM/Fla. And we still got outgained by nearly 200 yards in Gainesville and barely outgained OM. We should have lost both of those games.

This...Our oline might have won best Offensive Line award the year before, but that was because of Joe Burrow. He was elite at manipulating the pocket. Brennan has not shown that ability, and now LSU has a green left tackle coming to play.
With Max being a lefty and agile, this plays into his favor.
IF we're judging a 7 on 7 tournament sure I'll take Brennan he's got a cannon. Real game time scenario give me Max.

Watched the Mizzo game last night, don't know what you guys see that makes you think Brennan was so good. The only thing I see is that Brennan had a lot more talent to throw to than Max had after Marshall and Gilbert bravely disappeared.
