Can you blame him? The fricking wheels are falling off in front of his eyes and he will get no protection from the OL if he even has a chance to get in another game for LSU.

So you quit?

You fricking people that buy into this BS above are what’s wrong with this entire country/world.

I wish he’d wait and hear out the next coach

The main reason is probably that a new coach will want to go with a youth movement.

Fastlane has it figured out . The kid has an arm and a great brain . No frame for the SEC . Not an overall athlete . He can still get drafted and contribute at the NFL level , as a backup .

If I'm not mistaken you only have 6 years once your clock starts.

Some dude at Middle Tennessee is in his eighth year. At three colleges. Had a RS year, two medical redshirts, and a COVID year. He's almost 30. I'd look up the article but I'm not that motivated.

He hasn't applied for a medical redshirt for this season. As far as we know.
So potentially he has two.

Quite the hot take.
Kid spent five years year and you think he's quitting.
He probably already has two degrees.
He's going somewhere to actually play.

Tell me you've never left a job or get off your high horse.

He was a good tiger. That one flip flop incident really changed the trajectory of his life.

I don’t think Miles Brennan was great . Great arm , fragile small frame , injury prone , very slow on his feet . That is a recipe for injury in the SEC. He should never have played SEC ball . He might do OK at a lesser division school , but , still … he might have to run at times . You can time Miles with a sun dial !

So he couldn’t play here next year?

You really think max has done enough to warrant starting role lined up for next season?

It’s weird that he’d make a decision about next year after talking with O, who won’t have anything to do with selecting a starter. I hope he doesn’t sign anything until he’s able to meet with the new staff.

Depending on how this season plays out, I can see Nuss winning the job next year with a new coach and new system. His skill set looks much more natural and effortless than Max.

I think you’re over the target but not quite on the bullseye. I think the move is about the next coach but maybe a warning sign he may not be someone a veteran QB can have much faith in. This smells like he’s been tipped off that it’s gonna be Tucker.

Are any of those players entering their 6th year?

Didn't think so.

Those other players had WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY more production than Brennan had. I mean he sat what 3 years just to gain weight.

Myles Brennan is soft that is a fact. Every QB LSU has brought in after him started more games than him except Nuss but the season is not over.

This times a million. I still have nightmares about him not stepping up in the pocket against Miss State. Poor guy did not want to get hit. From what I’m told I cannot go back to the establishment where I watched that game, biggest let down after a championship.

This year alone:
Chris Curry, Dare Rosenthal, Kevontre Bradford, T.J. Finley, Maurice Hampton, Ray Thornton, Arik Gilbert, Nelson Jenkins. But, keep parsing while the majority of the team quits on you.
There is a core reason this happened.

A G5 that passes the ball a shite-ton, but doesn't require a running QB would be where I would look.
