When asked what he's learned from LSU's Heisman QB Joe Burrow, Brennan noted, "The biggest thing I want to take away from him (Joe Burrow) is how he's prepared and how he plays the game."

When asked about his time at QB, Brennan noted, "I've waited, and I'm ready to go." And he explained how "this offense is easier to pick up than the old one, just know where you're going with the ball."

He seems ready!

I am rooting for him. I like his attitude and patience. He also has the skills. I hope that he will put it all together now and lead this team for the next two years.

Geaux Tigers...

I think he’s already missing the main point.

Y’all catch the vague question about “what If Brady leaves”... and catch Myles answer......

And what is the main point that he is missing?

I think you took it too literal.

Recognize the defense, know where you're going with the ball. What part is missing?

It will be his 4th year in the program and he has all the physical tools, I'm excited to see what he can do.

Most LSU fans don't realize that.

In the almost 2 years I've been watching Myles, it seems he has grown from a teenager to a confident young man.

I think he'll surprise a lot of people in 2020. Seems like a guy who will lead by example - hard work and preparation.

You are getting downvoted, but it's true....

NO! You gotta LOOK and READ where the ball wants to go!

BIG DIFFERENCE!

Isn't that sort of implied though? He's not saying he knows where he is going before the play starts

Only dumb people would think that
Of course he means reading the defense then knowing where to go with the ball

People just like to argue

Have you people even watched the guy play this year? In the very little time he’s had with the second team he’s made improvements in how his eyes move from read to read.

Does he have thing to improve on? Hell yes he does but he’s also got time to do just that. IMO he will make throws Burrow just couldn’t make and hopefully he can develop his accuracy while moving around. I’ve seen him improve his touch on short throws and he’s got a very accurate deep ball. If he can learn how to feel pressure, move around in the pocket and make good decisions under pressure then he’s going to be a really good QB.

All these teams just assuming LSU is a one year wonder will be pleasantly surprised next year. The last couple of games, he’s made some accurate and beautiful throws to his WRs. Brady was also asked in his interview if Myles Brennan is a good QB and he lit up while speaking highly of him. Once he has his own time with the starters on the weekends, they will all improve greatly.

Plus the OL and run game will be drastically improved and we will be adding some big time TE’s to the offense. Not to mention the defense that he will have on the other side. This team will be very good again next year. I could see us going 11-1 or 10-2 very very easily. Just imagine his second season here? Wow!!! We have lots of talent and lots more coming. Good Times!

Um. Actually. THAT is what separates great QBs from average.

They can pre snap read and basically decide, 'if x happens, I'm going here and if it doesn't, I'm going there".

Hell. Burrow actually discussed exactly that with herbstreit.
