One player between Brennan, Finley, Max and Nuss will not finish their careers at LSU.

It absolutely amazes me how so many of you immature clowns can delve deeply into any topic concerning LSU football and pull out the absolute most negative aspect of the situation to discuss on here.....

If Brennan doesnt fight thru his injury then he will never play another down for LSU again. The other players will not respect him and there will be a mutiny if O benches a black QB with more experience for a white QB who some will start to wonder if he quit on his team.

I've always had Brennan at 2 years starting even before the covid thing. While he won't be the general for our next championship run in 2022, he'll be the guy to bridge the gap into a nice new year's 6 bowl game. He'll be the guy to get our young WR talent experience and have them prepared for a first year starting QB in 2022 in Finley or Johnson.

NFL?!?!? Seriously? After 3 games against shite competition (and one of those he played poorly, regardless of the stats)?

Brennan is going nowhere- why would he leave? Pretty much guaranteed to get his starting job back next year, unless O personally tells him to move on, but that would be insane...

Brennan should make up his own mind.

I absolutely am convinced that had Brennan had a great season, he would have gone pro no doubt. You have to go when you are hot, especially at the QB position.

Like I said earlier, I like Brennan but there are a lot of questions now about his health and durability if he returns. He did have great stats, but that was against the SEC's bottom of the barrel. We have no clue how he will produce against some of the elite SEC defenses. What if one of the two freshmen performs outstanding against the SEC's best defenses, you have to give him a serious look at starting next year.

With Brennan expected to return, there will be big changes in the QB room next season. I have no doubt we will lose at least one QB during the offseason, especially with the addition of Nussmeier and 5-star Howard coming in two years.

Players these days all think they should be the starter and are NFL material. It would have been great to see Brennan have a remarkable season and move on to the NFL, but his return definitely changes things. There is no way LSU has 4 talented QBs on the roster next season. The question is what QB is going to decide to look for a better situation first? Let's just hope it's just one and not more.

It’s his job to lose in case you missed the Auburn game. True freshmen aren’t much competition. Talent doesn’t equal wins. You can’t just show up and beat teams because you were a big recruit.

Brennan was the main guy. He got hurt. He's not as tough as Burrow but he's still the main guy.

Nuss won’t be either. We should hope Brennan stays as long as possible so we aren’t ever in the position of starting a freshman.
Nuss will be a true freshman starter the first game. He's a gamer like Burrow.

I got a feeling that the boy from Clemson is the exception. I will be watching that game.

Ideally, you want Brennan to ball out next year and go pro, then let Finley or Max ball out for a year or 2 and go pro, then hand to Nuss for a year or 2 and go pro, then hand to Howard or Manning, and so on.

My ideal situation would be for Brennan to play through 2022 and then hand it over to either Nuss or Howard and skip Finley and Johnson all together. They are ok but I feel like Nuss and Howard are next level and we shouldn’t keep them on the bench just cuz Finley and Johnson are older.

But I really don’t know anything so we will just see how it plays out.

Fir two seasons, fans came and and told us how inadequate Brennan would be. His first starts, we scored at a pace higher that Burrow. The bitching never stopped in spite of the fact it was the lack of dense that was the problem.
He gets hurt, two freshmen played, and now there is a problem.
I don't see it. What a great situation for LSU. Three talented QBs ready to start next season.
Hell, are we fans of our favorite QB or LSU fans?
If one of the Freshmen earn the starting job, so what. There is always a possibility of injury, a transfer if one decides he doesn't like his chances of playing. portal.
Its no [problem.
We are better at QB than we have been since Booty/Rohan and JR/Flynn.
Orgeron has us on a solid foundation and another great class of freshmen next season.
