“Myles really turned it on in the fourth quarter program,” said Orgeron. “He got up to 210 pounds. He became a leader. He was breaking down the team. You can see the excitement in Myles. He knows he’s going to play. He’s healthy. He’s following Joe, Joe’s showing him a lot of stuff. Myles probably has a better arm than Joe, better release. We’ll see what happens.”

Brennan is a RS Soph and if he does continue to develop physically and pick up the mental aspects of the game we should be in good shape for 2020-21. Brennan has a pretty quick release and good velocity. He's tailor made for the quick passing game and should benefit from being able to sit behind Burrow another season and study Brady's RPO.

Kid won't sniff the field as long as Average Joe's legs aren't broke.

I've gotta think he'll get some run in mop-up time

What's with the "Average Joe" shite?

Brennan reminds me of Nick Foles with the way he throws the ball. Foles KILLS in an RPO offense based on the quick passing game. That’s what we need for Myles to be successful.

Definitely will.

I think Joe Brady will want to get him actual passing experience in this offense in mop up time too. Won't just be handing it off. That will be his QB in 2020 and that guy isn't stupid.

3200+ yards Passing/Rushing from the QB position at LSU isn't "average"

That's pretty fricking good by our standards

I'm pretty sure it's similar to the style of offense he had in HS when he was breaking records and completing over 70% of his passes. Obviously the competition wasn't great, but I think it's a system he will be comfortable with so he won't have to overthink and can simply read and react to the D.

Joe is the best QB we've had on campus since Mett. WTF are you talking about? That dude walked on campus last August and was starting 4 weeks later.

I would like to see Myles get at least a full half in one of the non conference games just to get his feet wet in the offense in case Burrow ever goes down but we play some legit teams. GA Southern and Utah State are no pushovers in their league.

In all Texas/LSU game talk going forward, I will be referring to him as Average Joe. I can't be blamed for starting it.

This is one of the reasons I expect Burrow to do great in 2019. Add in the experience and talent upgrades and Brady's revision of the offense.

I try to temper my expectations, but I feel better about this season than I have in years.

“ I try to temper my expectations”

Wise move after the last 5 years especially when speaking of the offense.
