You and a couple of your alters have been pushing this for weeks. Too bad you have nothing to back you up.
Indeed...Nuss quit on this team last year and Daniels isnt consistent enough.
Miles has the experience and the skill...its a no-brainer.

Yeah, let’s trot out the guys that haven’t done it yet… start the guy that hasn’t taken a snap in the season opener, the guy that hasn’t taken A snap in an SEC game, the guy that hasn’t marched his team down the field during a nationally televised game when it was needed. Let’s start those guys!
I’m not saying MB will be the guy all year, but IMO if it’s actually close, MB will get the start in the nationally televised game against FSU because he’s been in that moment or very similar before and he will likely be able to focus and not have the game speed up on him.
Yes I realize he hasn’t played in over a year, but he’s the only one that really doesn’t have anything to lose out of all the QB’s. If Nuss starts and he’s not quite ready for the moment he might be Crushed mentally/confidence going forward.
Let’s face it, FSU is not going to run us out the dome! If the vet struggles, you put the young talent in and let it fly.
If one of the other guys is head and shoulders above Brennan, then so be it. But the young guys better be ready, because struggling is one thing… getting pulled and watching the vet come in and move the ball is a whole other beast mentally.

Enough with this bullshite. How do you know that Kelly didn't encourage the redshirt?

agree. I love loyalty, but I want to win...he's not it.

Yep, and one of the lessons I've learned in nearly 50 years of following LSU football is that the backup QB is the most popular player on the team.

Nussmeier was already redshirting the last 2 games of the season wasn’t he? LSU requested a waver to allow him to play the bowl, and it was denied.
You are right that the sentiment was bullshite, but Kelly didn’t have anything to do with it. Nuss did the right thing, and the coaching staff knew it. No sense blowing eligibility in a game when half the team was already gone anyway.

I knew Myles wasn’t the guy when we had 1st and goal at the Mizzou 1 yard line with the game on the line and we couldn’t score on 4 tries

I’m willing to go out on a limb and say this. Yes I will cheer for him if he is named starting QB, but he just ain’t it. Not saying Daniels or Nuss necessarily is, but we have heard from the players. It’s a two man race. Book mark me if I’m wrong and poke fun. Myles is not the guy
I don’t know who the QB will be, but O do know that the players aren’t going to pick the starter.
Who they WANT to start is not relevant.
Hell a few years ago some players wanted Justin McMillan to start over Burrow.

We have heard from the players that they work with nussmeier more. Which is significant, but not everything. Let them figure it out. This statement is asinine
You are right. The statement is asinine. Brennan is the 6th yr guy so hopefully he is working on the cerebral part more than the other guys. Regardless, all of these guys are question marks at this time.
One of the most overlooked things that made Burrow so successful was the low class load and the ability to work on details like pass protection and weekly offensive strategy. Brennan is the guy who is taking online knitting classes so we will see if he is using his time to work on football or online shopping fishing gear...

Regardless of what went on behind closed doors and how that decision went down, I wish people would quit dwelling on it and move on.

He also gets a little too much praise in my opinion, but you're not wrong.

Myles will NOT take the majority of the snaps this year....

Miss showed his leadership by abandoning his team in bowl game.
One could argue he helped his team by not wasting a year of eligibility in a meaningless bowl game.

Look, OP may be right or he may be wrong. But it does no good to piss on any player in the first days of fall camp (or anytime for that matter). Let the guys work the system. The team will run with the best.

This board keeps forgetting Myles Brennan's capabilities! Yes, he has had tough sledding at LSU, not all his fault! We have never had an opportunity to see Myles in a continuing role at LSU.
His potential, with a great supporting cast is "off the charts"!
