Brennan hasn’t been perfect but he made some good throws and put up points on the board. He wasn’t horrible and at times looked very good. He deserves the opportunity until he struggles.

Maybe they’ll let you and the rest of the village idiots on the board decide who starts at Qb

I know some will say this is unfair, but he has a 33% win ratio. He's 1 and 2.

I know, I know, the defense, oline, coaching, everyone but him...

Is there not something to be said of a teams identity coming from its leaders, QB being the primary one?

Right so let’s see how MB does with the improved line etc. If he struggles, you give Finley the reins.

There’s also something to be said about having 2 weeks to address the suckage thus far.

If you watched Brennan the last 2 games you wouldn’t feel this way

I’m actually ok with a bit of emotion and passion play in. This is not the NFL.

That’s such a dishonest statement. If his defense would’ve given up what we gave up last night he’d be undefeated. Brennan puts up more points and over 100 more yards per game than TJs night last night. If Finley were averaging what he did yesterday then got hurt and Brennan came in and put up 345 and 3TDs, (his first start), you people would be arguing the same way for him to takeover. This is typical silly overreaction from the Rant like every other week.

Or Pop Warner. Best player should play—if it it hurts someone’s feelings

Well it isn’t always about doing something bad to get passed up at a top tier program like LSU. Sometimes the guy behind you just plays fantastic with more intangibles etc. and he just plain gives you a better chance to win. Let’s Just see what TJ does with Auburn.

Has done anything to win the job either. He’s just “been here”.

You can’t be this stupid. He’s on a historic pace putting up over 100 more ypg than TJ did last night and more ppg than we scored last night.

Technically he did win the job. He’s being challenged now which is great. He gets to show us next week and then the best person gets the job. Fair and square.

Actually, I wanted Brennan to play over Etling and Burrow (in 2018).

Many people were disappointed with Brennans first showing this year. He held on to the ball too long and looked nervous.

Our offense held the ball for the majority of the game last night keeping it away from the other offense and allowing our defense to get rested. When you have defensive issues, you have to possess the ball. Brennan is barely at 60% completion rate and 0 third down conversion ratio.

My biggest complaint last night was not seeing Max play with an open playbook instead of just milking clock. What if Max is better than TJ is with the added scrambling speed?

Im just more interested in the future of LSU at this point and less interested in what people think about Brennan. He's had long enough. He's had some electric plays but im ready to see what TJ and Max can do, and if Max is anywhere near as good as they say he is, id rather lose Brennan to the portal than either of the other two.

Is Brennan the leader? Watch the post game celebration in locker room and tell me what you see. LINK

Elaborate please. I believe EVERY position is a constant competition. This team isn’t good enough to be given too much leash.

Are you seriously implying that Brennan is as bad as Fromm??. I hope not because Brennan is quite a bit better than Fromm

What am I comparing that celebration to? Got links from the other win? And besides not only is this purely subjective and anti factual but it’s the first time we’ve been seen in many’s eyes as the underdog plus he’s a true freshman so his expectations were unknown as well. The facts are the facts and I’m not even gonna get into the short easy throws and protected gameplan because I can tell this isn’t the crowd for that. Brennan puts up more offense and does it shouldering much more responsibility, he also threatens more of the field and gives the D more to worry about. If TJ was better he’d have been the starter already.
