Bregman is the best player on the team this year. Even better than Jose thus far.

Check out his last 162.

#Astros Alex Bregman last 162 games played:

109 runs scored
184 hits
47 doubles
5 triples
30 home runs
103 runs batted in
75 bases on balls
9 hits-by-pitch
6 sacrifice flies
3 reaches on error
17 stolen bases
.297/.378/.535
.387 wOBA
151 wRC+
107 batted balls of at least 100 mph

Can I be officially pissed off? I sat a couple rows behind home plate last night and he got one base hit. I'm back in NOLA tonight and he blasts two?

Doesn't matter, glad to see tigers doing g well!

Can you imagine how good Altuve would be if he had Bregman’s plate discipline? Altuve swings at everything.

As far as hitting, check out his rbi total despite missing the number of games he has 11 less than Bregman despite missing 80 abs. His HR total is only 5 behind with 80 less abs. .

Last time i checked, the best baseball players are also graded on how much they play. Not what their numbers would be IF they didnt get hurt

Bregs is definitely having the best season and the Stros certainly have an outstanding core group of high-energy position players who are 28 and under: Bregs, Altuve, Correa, and Springer. They are a fun team to watch.

Enjoy it while it lasts gentlemen because in a few years there is absolutely no way they'll be able to afford to keep them together

LOL come on dude really. He is an all star reserve not MVP. Hopefully in the future but lets not get ahead of ourselves. Bregman is a streaky player with highs and lows. Every year he has proven that

I’m confused. They have played 162 games already this year?

Don’t say this year... then include stats from last year.

Sad.

He didn't crank a ton of homers, but he had a .535 slg % his junior year with 9 HRs and 34 XBHs.

He had some power.

Yea he hit a lot of 2B & 3B so his SLG was decent but he didn’t have this HR power. 21 HRs over 3 years. Greg Deichmann for instance hit 19 in one year,

has it? Outside Bregman's slump right when he entered the majors, why don't you tell us about all the other slumps he's had in his career, in the majors, in the minors, and in college?
