Well, Mr. DEI William Tate removed a bunch of requirements that kept the GPA challenged off of campus during his tenure. These are the fruits of his labor.

Who is we? Did you go to LSU? Do you enjoy seeing this chit on campus? These people are making LSU the laughing stock of game day experiences. Believe me, outside of BR, everyone talks about it. With kids and families walking around, the last thing you need to see are asses hanging out, twirking, etc. That isn't "just having fun", that's bullchit. Keep encouraging that and watch the quality of applicants plummet.

TigerinAL - this is a high IQ response. I'll try to expound my thoughts (trolling Fat Bastard man...keep up)
The quality of the applicants are increasing. This is not hyperbole, this is fact. Of course I don't want MY ALMA MATER to decline. I think some of the outrage is fake, or atleast over analyzed...there's literal videos that pop up every week (again, this is not hyperbole, it's fact). The University has done a great job of having police presence this season...it is working. The truth - students were told that tailgates were going to be shut down at time slot X. I think what we saw was because the tailgate ending at time slot Y. That's not on the students solely. They just need to keep tinkering to find the right combination of getting things before they get rowdy.
LSU is in a weird space where it's almost has reached a status symbol that supercedes the great things going on, on the school side. I don't know how the image gets fixed. But the edginess is a double edge sword. Go back to the increases in applications = popularity. Asses hanging out - LOL. I don't like it. It's a generational thing that all folks are doing. Over generalizing it, is what I'm saying try to avoid, that's all.
Do we have issues? Yes, similar issues that everyone is having. Just because everyone is having them, is it okay? No. What's the fix? I'm not sure man. Our generation has to find a way to bring back shaming the younger generation for things that our younger selves toe'd the line with, but maybe didn't cross.

this culture is destroying America. I just hope somehow, LSU can stop this deterioration immediately, using this episode as the impetus to not let another day go by.
