LSU junior Brandon Sampson has signed with an agent and will declare for the NBA Draft, source told ESPN. Top 50 kid coming out of high school.

Never really struck me as a sure fire pro. I don't even think he has the skill set of Blakeney. Weird decision.

Good luck to him. Wish he could've stayed healthy all year. Intriguing talent who didn't really maximize his abilities at LSU for various reasons.

A bit surprising he signed with an agent but not that shocked to see him testing the waters. Shame, he could've been a solid contributor next year.

He will be a D league guy or overseas. Bad advice from somewhere. He didn't even stay healthy all year. I wish him luck

They still play defense in the NBA right?

Have fun in the G League Brandon.

The guy is an explosive athlete, he may carve out a nice couple of years overseas and then be able to come back like Darius Miller has. Although, Miller is more of a 3 point specialist which makes it a little easier for him to catch on.

Hopefully he proves people wrong like Quartemann and Blakeney

Wade had concerns about him being “all in” regarding pre season workouts last year. Not getting back to pre injury form didn’t help.

Called it. This isn’t a big surprise though. He was gone after this year one way or another

Thought he would transfer out. Guess he didn't want to have to sit out a year. His combination of athleticism and shooting stroke could be potent if he puts it together, but I never have been impressed by his mentality.
