Wade had concerns about him being “all in” regarding pre season workouts last year. Not getting back to pre injury form didn’t help.

i heard Wade call him the best player on the team last offseason. Things may have changed

Been working out in Miami and will probably sign with the same agent as Quarterman and Blakeney per this.

Ahh, it’s so hard to objectively evaluate oneself.

Seemed to kind of drive Wade crazy because you could never quite be sure what Sampson you were going to get on a given night.

Would have been nice to have back but meh...I’d almost prefer a transfer that will accept being a role player on next year’s team

He probably should have stayed.....but he may have seen “handwriting”....

WW’s post season analysis was very telling and “Frank”......

Good luck to a nice young man...

Unlikely another year would have made him a first round pick. For most players, a second round pick or undrafted will not change their career trajectory much. It sucks for us, but I can't blame him. Getting full time playing and training will help him progress more than another year in college. Hope he can eventually get to NBA, but think more likely a G league and/or international career is in his future.

Agree with you. Overseas guy . If Brandon can ever harness all that God given talent he has watch out. I think some of his issues may be in between the ears.

Hopefully he proves people wrong like Quartemann and Blakeney

What?

AB has proven nothing yet, though I believe he has an NBA future.

Quarterman has proven nothing but that he has a ceiling of the rare ten-day contract while toiling in the G-League his entire career.

Now that he no longer qualifies for the rookie minimum, he’s too expensive for an NBA team to keep around as the 14th-15th guy on the end of the bench.

He's going to get minutes. Wasn't going to start over Sampson though. Prob wont start over Mays either unless we go small. Waters-Smart-Mays are pretty interchangeable once the game starts. All 3 can play either guard position.

Good luck to the guy. He is not a Wade type of player. No intensity and low bball IQ.

considering the majority of our fans said they'd never sniff the NBA, they have proved a lot of people wrong
