And you are claiming that a guy who threw for 28/8 can't read a defense.

come on man....I realize your defense of JJ is motivated by certain characteristics not related to his play, but the knock on JRs ability to read a defense was there during the draft.

Where did I defend Jordan Jefferson?

I was on Team Lee, so what exactly are my motivations?

Just pointing out the stupidity in your post. Maybe you should look at your motivations

I saw him play against LSU's defense and he threw 3 TD's and ran all over the place..

That's why JR went first overall and Flynn got chanced upon in the 7th round.

Think how awesome that will be if he does same thing against all first team players in a real college football game.

Weren't we saying how awesome and studious and intelligent and hard-working Jennings was at this time last year? It's like déjà vu all over again.

Sounds like we have two great qbs to choose from

Odd thing to say, since in hindsight Flynn proved to be more talented by not stinking it up the NFL

That is until he ended up on the Raiders squad like his predecessor. Where you end up does play a part in this?

Matt Flynn was a better QB than J. Russell for the same reason Trent Dilfer was a better QB then Dan Marino............

That UGA game was #5 D, and Bama #1 at the time IIRC. You do realize Lee had worse comp% vs UK(LOL), and much worse RAT vs Bama?
Lee did well in his comfort zone, and a great contributor to '11 SEC title, but nothing in stats shows he was above JJ vs the same competition.
It's retarded to keep harping on it.

Jordan Jefferson was a better quarterback than Jarrett Lee

That's not even up for debate

Let's wait and see how he does against an SEC defense in a real game.

Russell's successors didn't exactly set the bar high. Flynn was fairly pedestrian in 2007 (200 yards passing per game). 2013 Mettenberger was the only statistically impressive QB we've had in 7 seasons since Russell.

I think the coaches will give jennings every chance to be the starter.

i just don't think they will be able to keep harris off the field. especially if jennings makes some early miscues.
