One does not simply start their first year at quarterback in the SEC.

We all better hope that AJ is the man. If you don't understand that, then get ready to be happy with a long gone nine win season.

weren't Jennings and Rettig ranked just as high coming out of high school as harris? plus they have time in the system. don't understand why some think harris beats them out. Harris probably redshirts, bides his time, waits his turn, then takes over the reigns once Jennings and Rettig graduate.

I personally believe AJ keeps the starting gig until maybe halfway through the season (maybe a loss or low production out of AJ) and then Harris will get a chance to start.

If that happens this is going to be a very long season

If anyone has a chance to be a starter besides Jennings it's Retigg. He's been there working out, he understands the speed of college athletes.

I think Harris has the skill set to do well at LSU, but lets give the kid some time to learn to read a D, get his mechanics in order, and learn all the ins and outs of the offense.

Jennings is a player let's enjoy watching him.

Whoever we sign in 15 with be the one the rant thinks will be all of them.

I still remember people in 2012 wanting Rivers subbed in for Mett.

Redding/Retting what's the diff? Y'all know who I'm taking about and I guess we will see? And the things he did so terrible in HS will be fixed with cam. Oh and the guy was running for his life in HS and still put up some good numbers. The Oline and WR we have do not compare. We'll see

You have to mind macintosh504, he is a latent homosexual who is still in the closet and in denial, not that theres anything wrong with that, and takes his anger and frustrations put on people on this site only to be laughed at.

Oh and it's AJ job to lose.

They should do like I do it in NCAA, just redshirt all the young people so you can max out their playing time no matter what. Jennings is probably 4-7 points better overall anyway, so why not just roll with him since he's older?

It's certainly possible.

However, playing in games does benefit players. Duh.

While Jennings didn't look very comfortable in the bowl game, it was his first collegiate start and it was a bowl game, on top of that.

Harris looks really good in what I've seen but I'm sure Cameron will want to tweak a few things with him, as he will with Jennings.

I can't see a true freshman coming in and starting over someone who has experience barring injury.

Right now, I think it's Jennings spot to lose. Just from an experience standpoint.

Jennings' job to lose, if he screws up I would expect to see Rettig next. So Harris, I say no
