That's the saddest part about this story.

Agreed. Leadership missed an opportunity to make a positive change, and move forward with the completion of last year's recruiting cycle, new coach hires, and players deciding to return.

Now here we are, 1 week into the season and it is worse. NO improvements from last season, and we have all season to watch this unfold as a detriment to the overall program.

Nice job LSU leadership, take a bow....you punted this one and now you get to watch the consequences unfold...

I wanted Miles gone last season, still want him fired at the end of this season. I'm not a fan of firing coaches mid-season though. Mid-season firings always seem to be complete shite shows that all parties look bad in.

Well, this is also incorrect.

How do some of you come up with this stuff?

There isn't a coach in Miles's stratosphere that has been fired midseason.

But I don't know if I ever recall another coach in Miles' stratosphere being so unanimously bludgeoned in the media, either. The attention LSU is getting is surprising to me. I'm glad for it, Bc he needs to go. Just surprised how blunt it is.

I think the media finally just has enough ammo to call him out, given that he was on video recording saying he would change, and the product is exactly the same...

most coaches would have stepped down in miles position. He has chosen for us too fire his stupid arse.

Again, the wishes of this fan base don't make this kind of statement true. Richt, Carr, Bowden, etc. have all walked away or been let go at the end of the season. They may make a statement to that effect midseason, but nothing actually happens until the end of the season.

If that bothers you than you are exactly the type of miserable pussy I think you are. IDGAF about spelling while posting from a cellphone keyboard and/or on a damn message board.

When the Auburn pass defense was hilariously bad and we had Russell.

It was one of these most painfully stupid game plans in the history of coaching

That game was one of the main reasons Jimbo sought employment elsewhere and landed with FSU. He and miles had a falling out over Miles' hijacking plays.

Is it a complete disaster. We just lost to a team that will be 500 in the Big 10. They shut us down with inferior players at every single position.

That team could have gone down as one of the greatest ever! Loaded and couldn't score in big games.

That was the beginning of the fitting nickname "Two Loss Les". Regardless of the level of talent we will find a way to lose two games.

How is this possible with other conference champions with potentially having no more than one loss?

I have a sinking feeling, that LSU will beat Jacksonville St, then go and beat a very bad MIss St team. Both are at home. Auburn is terrible and LSU is built to stop spread teams. I have a sinking feeling we will be 4-1 heading to Gainseville. We lose that one, however Florida isn't that great either. Mizzou is FCS bad.

Let's not be surprised if LSU isn't 5-2/6-1 heading into Ole Miss weekend. And this is the problem, Miles is going to get 8-10 wins but that's it, it shouldn't be tied anymore to W/L. It's time to move on.

I mean, just look around college football.

Big 12 is garbage. Is Oklahoma still going to win that conference? To do it with less than 2 losses, they'd have to win out. That's including a game against Ohio State (which I do think they'll win).

The Pac 12 will beat each other up more this season than last season. UCLA and USC both already have a loss. Stanford also has to play @ Notre Dame. Notre Dame? They already have a loss.

The Big Ten East is a good division. Michigan State plays @ Notre Dame this week, which is probably a loss. They won't win out after that. Ohio State plays @ Oklahoma, @ Wisconsin, @ Michigan State. Michigan plays @ Michigan State, @ Iowa, and @ Ohio State.

It'll be tough for a Big Ten team to win that conference with less than 2 losses.

ACC will very likely produce an undefeated or 1-loss champ. There's a chance both Clemson and Florida State could get in the playoff.

Long story short, there will be a lot of teams beating each other up this season in college football. shite, 4 top 10 teams already lost. Teams like Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Washington, Texas, and Louisville are ranked in or around the top 10. All of those teams are taking multiple losses this season.

There's a good chance that there are MULTIPLE two-loss teams in the playoff this season.
