Sheldon Mickle’s of BR’s The Advocate notes that LSU is in last place in the SEC with the fewest TD’s in the red zone and that Arkansas with their new head coach is not far behind. Even in LSU’s 36 point explosion against Ga, during eight trips in the red zone LSU managed only 3 TD’s.

Only Alabama, the Aggies and Ole Miss have been in the red zone more this season, LSU’s problem is scoring TD’s. Orgeron stated LSU had plans to be more creative on offense but Alabama changed their coverage. Teams are playing much more zone against LSU, and getting pressure on Burrow, making it tough to score TD’s.

All LSU fans want LSU and Coach Orgeron to succeed, fans are concerned because they see the offense is struggling mightily in the red zone, it’s a problem LSU staff must address. No time better than the present. Geaux Tigers!

The article also says LSU can’t run its offense against zone coverages. Lol

I mean that’s basic football.

LSU can’t score and zone defense is an issue.

Zone. 50% of all coverages. Is an issue.

I’m very worried about this weekend.

This is the shite that pisses me off and I know other fans as well. What were you doing for two weeks????

If you cannot go into an SEC game with two weeks to prepare and have every possible scenario covered with our QB and offense then you have failed as a HC. Im not calling him a failure, but him basically saying, "Welp they did something different, so all of our creativity went out the window."

HC and OC should be able to change and adapt, between drives, between, quarters, and between halves, if you cannot either find someone that can or stop with the chirade that it is other peoples fault.

Struggling everywhere. Not just in the red zone.

We still doing better than Auburn and they have an offensive "genius" as a HC. And you ever notice that we do just fine (yeah not always great) against other defenses that are not Alabama's?

These online "rags" simply like to jump on teams that just lost. And we lost to probably a GOAT team. If we destroy Arkansas tomorrow, then everyone will start saying great things about us.

Red zone issues for this offense are real. Theyve been alarmingly present all year. The kicker so far has kept the pressure off the coach and QB, but its a big problem thats difficult to fix.
If it causes LSU to lose a game they shouldve won, the Coach O scrutiny will be at a fever pitch. And deservedly so.

Auburn sucks and our last coach owned them. How bout this, LSUs offense sucks. It's okay to admit that. Anytime you say, well we are doing better than x team means you aren't doing enough.

And it's not just Alabama, go back from 16 to today. Plenty of other names on there.

The fact that we couldn't attack a zone defense tells you everything you need to know about our offensive attack.

They threw in one wrinkle - they went from man to zone and we didn't score.....again.

We are really looking bad on both sides of the ball! Offense cannot move the ball on any team with an so-so defense, also I thought the strenth of the team was the defence, but we look awful last game!

nope, things will quiet down some, but haters will hate...
specially when some facts can partially support their views.
