Loss is all on coaches. 62 pitches and a 2 hitter when pulled? WTF?

Sorry on phone and thumb hit wrong number.

BAD LUCK??? We got two runs because a ball stopped under a gate.

They got 4 because of their protest.

Game's entirely on the coaching staff.

Tough to argue with this one.

In the driver's seat, have a pitcher who has thrown 6 innings, given up only 2 hits, and whose pitch count is way below normal...with a 4-0 lead...and somehow end up counting on Nate Fury in the 8th in a 2 run game with runners in scoring position.

If you are willing to burn your closer in a tie game, then you have to throw him in that 8th inning. It makes no sense not to have him ready there.

And, it gets worse. We are now in a spot where we probably are at best, equal with Houston from a pitching standpoint.

We had about 10 balls crushed that found Houston gloves.

Just hope that tomorrow when Cartwright is sitting at 65 pitches through six innings Mainieri doesn't go full retard again.

Well, in retrospect we should have pulled McCune after the interference play, 2 on- bring in Fury or Broussard right then. End the threat in the 8th, and the 9th would probably been quiet.

Oh well, we have tomorrow. Gotta think it favors Houston though

Our house agrees. Coach says don't pull him. OOOPPPS! Was the LSU mistake. Never know what the next pitcher is going to do. Then, did not pull Cune soon enough. Hind sight....

I still do not get taking Bouman out so early. He threw 62 pitches. Really do not understand it.

That's something PM has to answer, because I didn't see any let up on Bouman's part.

Houston has to be favored tomorrow. No bullpen left for LSU.

No, it's the opposite. We're still the favorites, but it shouldn't have come to this.

I guess. They just had a closer throw four shut out innings. I realize they have an extra game under their belt, but man we just shite the bed tonight and the chink in the armor is real. Hope we can hit our way out tomorrow.

So what is the basis for saying Houston has more pitching than LSU does for tomorrow?

Who can/will they throw, and what criteria are the posters here using to claim that what they have left is better?

How do they have more pitching than us? They have played one more game than we have. I can't imagine that to be the case.
they have better pitching than us after Nola and Poche and Bouman.
