He was talking about a national seed. Not finishing the regular season with a top 8 rpi, which is all this report states.

ftr, rpi is just for fans. it's an attempt to objectively measure the teams but, the criteria for doing so is subjective.

Just want to point-out that we have a losing record to half of the top-8 RPI we probably aren't getting in over them.
Oregon, UNC, and Louisville could lose all their remaining game and get get a top-8 seed. We need one of the others to fall apart at the same time that we go on a win streak.
